Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026.

Scope and contact

This policy describes the current BurnoutInfo website at burnoutinfo.org. BurnoutInfo’s site operator handles website and editorial enquiries. Use the contact form for a privacy question or a request relating to information you have submitted.

Contact information

The contact form asks for an email address, a message, an optional name and an optional page URL. The information is sent to the site operator’s configured mailbox so the enquiry can be reviewed and, where appropriate, answered. The theme does not create a separate WordPress database record of the message.

Messages may remain in that mailbox and its backups. No automatic deletion period is currently applied by the contact form. You can request deletion; relevant records may need to be retained where there is a lawful reason. Do not submit medical records or other sensitive information through this general-purpose form.

Technical data and security

Hosting, email and security systems may process IP addresses, request details, browser information and logs needed to deliver and protect the site. The contact form uses a short-lived hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. Hosting and mailbox logs and backups follow the settings of their respective services.

Cookies and external services

The current public theme does not add advertising or analytics trackers. WordPress, hosting and security functions may use operational cookies or request data, particularly for administrator access and protected features. Browser settings can control cookies, although blocking required functions may affect how the site works.

Links to research, public agencies and treatment providers take you to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply after you follow those links. BurnoutInfo does not receive your treatment enquiries to those providers through this website’s contact form.

Privacy requests

You may ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have submitted, subject to applicable law and any necessary identity checks. State the nature of the request without sending identity documents or medical records initially. We may need enough information to locate the relevant enquiry.

Policy changes

This page should be updated when the site’s forms, tracking or data-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the current published version.
